These Terms of Service apply to individuals ("testers") who apply to join and participate in the System Lens Evaluation tester network through apply.systemlensevaluation.com.
By submitting an application or accepting an assignment, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Testers are independent contractors, not employees of System Lens Evaluation. You will be invited to evaluate software applications — including mobile apps, web apps, games, and other digital products — and submit structured written feedback.
You are free to accept or decline any assignment offered to you. There is no obligation to accept a minimum number of assignments.
Submissions must be honest, specific, and detailed enough to be usable in a professional evaluation report. Generic responses ("looks good," "I liked it") do not meet our quality standards and may result in non-payment for that submission.
We review all submissions before payment is issued. If a submission does not meet quality standards, we will notify you and explain why.
Payment for accepted, completed, and approved submissions is made via Wise in USD or your local currency. The standard beginner rate is $15 USD per completed test. Higher rates may be offered for specific assignments or as your feedback quality improves.
Payment is issued within 14 days of submission approval. Payment is contingent on your submission meeting quality standards as described in Section 4.
All apps and software you are asked to test must be treated as confidential. You may not share, screenshot, record, or discuss the contents of any assignment with anyone outside of System Lens Evaluation unless explicitly told otherwise.
Some assignments will require you to sign a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before access is granted. You must sign the NDA before beginning that assignment.
We collect and use your personal data to operate the tester network. Please read our Privacy Notice for full details of what we collect, why, and your rights.
Your personal information will not be shared with clients. Your feedback will be attributed anonymously (e.g. "Tester T-03") in all reports delivered to clients.
We may remove a tester from the network at our discretion, including for: repeated failure to complete accepted assignments, submission of low-quality or dishonest feedback, breach of confidentiality obligations, or conduct that is abusive or unprofessional.
We will notify you of removal by email. Any submissions already approved and pending payment will still be paid.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active testers by email before significant changes take effect. Continued participation in the network after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
